How can I schedule an appointment with a therapist?
If you're interested in counseling services, please send an inquiry through our website referral form. Alternatively, you can press any request appointment button and schedule a consultation with Chrishona Henry to discuss your needs. If you have a particular counselor in mind, feel free to specify that in your inquiry or during consultation, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
What forms of payment do you take?
We take insurance, private payments, and vouchers.
We take the following medicaid plans: Optum/United, Optima, Molina, Anthem/Healthkeepers
We take the following commercial plans: Aetna, Optum/United, Optima, Molina, Anthem/Healthkeeps/Blue Cross, Tricare
Private pay session cost: Intake: $150, 60 minute session: $125
We need to validate your insurance policy's coverage for mental and behavioral health services if you intend to use it. We ask that you fill out our referral form on our website and wait up to 24 hours to 48 hours for an update.
What is the intake process?
After consultation or agreement to move forward with Holistic Expression, intake documents will be sent to the email provided, from Sesssions Health. Once intake documents are completed, the assigned counselor will reach out to schedule your intake appointment.
How will I communicate with my therapist?
Therapy sessions are conducted via a video platform called Sessions Health. You will use the client portal in Sessions Health to complete intake documents, message your therapist, and you can also make appointment requests.
How do live video sessions work?
Video sessions are similar to Facetime or Skype. You can access the video session on your phone or computer. You do need a good wifi or ethernet connection for it to work on your computer. A link will be sent to you via email and/or phone. Click the link, download the telehealth app and sign in.
Will everything I say in therapy be kept private?
Yes! However, therapists are mandated reporters. We have to report abuse to children, elderly and animals. We have to report to crisis agencies if you are planning or actively trying to end your life or someone else’s. Your documentation completed will remain secure within the portal. Therapists will maintain a quiet, private area for sessions to be completed without distraction or intrusion.
Do we provide medication?
No. Not at this time.
